First Day of School is DONE :)

So we made it through the first day and your children are officially BIG KINDERGARTENERS!!!

We will be reviewing rules all this week. Make sure to discuss Voice Levels with your child. Behavior colors (listed in the folder). Raising a quiet hand and not yelling out. Also, do your best to say our names so that your children begin using our names and not calling us "teacher" all day. (We know Ms. Finocchiaro's name is tricky, but we promise it will get easier. )

And the last big thing for parents... PLEASE make sure to put your dismissal changes in writing. We had a few parents show up to dismissal areas and their children were not there. It makes for a lot of unnecessary worrying and we don't want that to happen~ for you guys, your children or us. 

HAve a great evening and we'll see the students in the morning. We will both be out there teaching them the Morning Hallway Rules for turning in their folder, getting two books to read and sitting criss cross against the hallway. :)
